Rectangular, hardwood with stop-fluted legs, the top inset with a polishing stone and mounted with a brass calibrated angle degree guide signed "Holtzapffel & Co., London", steel lined slot allowing the lathe and stocks to slide, treadle-operated lathe with large hardwood wheel, leather rope and wooden pulley wheel with graduated slots, glass oil sump, face plate with screw adjusted clamp. Bench signed and dated. Dim. 97 x 132 x 50 cm.
