Pink Gold "Tri-Compax" Universal, Genève, "Tri-Compax". Made circa 1950. Fine and rare, large, astronomic, 18K pink gold gentleman's wristwatch with square button chronograph, registers, triple date, moon phases and an 18K pink gold Universal buckle.
C. Three-body, polished, curved bezel, curved lugs. D. Brushed silver with applied pink gold Arabic and pyramidal indexes, outer minutes and fifths of a second track with Arabic five minute/second numerals, subsidiary dials for the seconds, the 12-hour and 30-minute registers, graduation for the date around the moon phase aperture, apertures for the days of the week and the month. Pink gold "dauphine" hands. M. Cal. 481, rhodium- plated, 17 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, monometallic balance, selfcompensating Breguet balance spring, index regulator. Dial, case and movement signed. Diam. 38 mm. Thickness 12 mm.
