C. Two-body, later, back and bezel covered with tortoiseshell and decorated with studs, brass shutter for the winding aperture. D. Gold, champlevé, radial Roman numerals, outer minute ring with five-minute Arabic numerals on polished oval cartouches, center chased with foliate scrolls, signature cartouches and a winged angel's head. Blued steel ?beetle and poker? hands. M. 41 mm, gilt full-plate with large divided Egyptian pillars, fusee and chain, verge escapement, under-sprung plain threearm steel balance with flat balance spring, single-footed winged cock pierced and finely engraved with symmetrical stylized foliage, mask in the neck, rack and pinion regulator with silver dial. Dial and movement signed. Diam. 56 mm. To be sold without reserve
