A. Huguenin & Grezet, Locle (Swiss), No. 13197, circa 1870. Fine and unusual 18 ct. gold, keyless independent split centre seconds watch with 1/4 second " foudroyante".

White enamel with Roman numerals, outer Arabic minute and independent seconds rings, sunk subsidiary " diabmotine" 1/4 second register. Blued steel " Breguet" hands. M. 20"', nickel plated, double train with differential winding, "à vagues" decoration, 24 jewels, counterpoised straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, Breguet balance spring. Independent split seconds train with push piece in the band. In very good condition. Diam. 56 mm.
