Rosselet, (Les Verrières, Vallée de Joux) , Swiss, circa 1800. Fine and very rare 18 ct. gold "Bras-en-l'air" watch.

C. Double body, Directoire, polished. D. White enamel, painted on the tower part with a scene depicting a gentleman painting ruins (slightly restored). An applied gold figure in a Turkish costume lift his arms by depressing the pendant, pointing hours and minutes on two sectors. Driven by the movement, the head of the figure turns from right to left and left to right. M. Hinged gilt brass full plate with cylindrical pillars, fusee with chain, verge escapement, plain brass three arm balance, flat balance spring, gilt brass continental cock with polished steel end-piece. Signed on the dial and back plate. In good condition. Diam. 56 mm.
