Bovet, Fleurier, No. 357, made for the Chinese market, circa 1880. Fine gilt brass and enamel, pearl-set centre seconds watch.
C. Double body, with reeded band, pearl-set bezels, pendant and bow, the enamel back finely painted with a bunch of flowers over a blue ground. Hinged gilt brass cuvette engraved with decoration. D. White enamel with Roman numerals. Blued steel "spade" hands. M. Fine gilt brass movement, entirely engraved with scrolls, Chinese caliber with free standing barrel, single lateral lever escapement with plain bras three-arm balance with blued steel decoration. Signed on the movement. In very good condition with an enamelled key ( damaged). Diam. 56 mm.
