Revillon à Mâcon, (Swiss), circa 1810. Very fine 18 ct. gold and enamel "petite sonnerie", quarter repeating clock-watch with date and special escapement.
C. Four body, "Empire", the band with blue champleve enamelled decoration, the back engineturned in a sun-burst pattern, with an escutcheon, blue enamel line on the borders. Gold cuvette. D. White enamel with Breguet numerals and inned date ring. Blued steel hands with skeletonised gold " spade" tips. M. GiIt brass double train, with free standing barrels, steel double wheel duplex escapement, plain brass three arm-balance, flat balance spring with bimetallic compensation curb on the index. Striking and repeating on gongs with visible striking work and button on the pendant. Signed on the cuvette. In very good condition. Diam. 60 mm.
