Brunschwik à Lyon, made in Fleurier (Swiss) for the Chinese market, circa 1880. Unusual 18 ct. gold, dead beat centre second two time zone watch, with triple calendar and special escapement.

C. Four body, "forme quatre baguettes" with reeded band and engine-turned back. Gold cuvette, engineturned on the border. D. White enamel, the two time zone chapters respectively with Breguet and Roman numerals, subsidiary dials for days of the week and dates, outer dead centre seconds ring on the border of the bezel with the month of the year and their number of days (scratched). Blued steel "spade" hands. M. 20"', Texier calibre from Fleurier for the Chinese market, fully engraved with scrolls and flowers, with going barrel, Jacot's Chinese duplex escapement, plain blued steel three-arm balance with fancy screws on the rim, flat balance spring. Signed on the cuvette. In good condition. Diam. 54 mm.
