Unsigned (Geneva), circa 1700. Fine gold and enamel watch case painted in the manner of Mussard, with a later movement by P. Wilder, London, No. 7102.
C. Double body, bassine with later gold split bezel, the back finely painted in the manner of Huaud, with an allegorical scene on "envy and temptation", continuous landscape on the border (slightly restored). D. White enamel with Roman numerals and outer Arabic minute ring, the centre painted with a small landscape. Gold Louis XV hands. M. Hinged giIt brass full plate with baluster pillars, fusee with chain, verge escapement, plain steel three-arm balance, flat balance spring, gilt brass English cock. Signed on the back plate. In good condition. Diam. 43 mm.
