Robert Brandt & Cie. (Geneva), No. 25201, circa 1840. Fine and extremely rare, 18 ct. gold, extra thin quarter repeating watch with "Bagnolet" calibre.

C. Three body with reeded band, the engine-turned back with floral and foliage engraved decoration. D. White enamel with Roman numerals. Blued steel Breguet hands. M. 18"', gilt brass, inverted "Bagnolet" calibre with both the going and the striking trains sunk on the single plate beneath the dial, 8 jewels, cylinder escapement with plain brass three-arm balance, flat balance spring. Repeating on gongs with slide in the band. Signed on the movement. In very good condition. Diam. 46 mm. Less than 4 mm. thick.
