Robert & Courvoisier, la Chaux-de-Fonds, Swiss, circa 1790. Extremely rare, 18 ct. gold calendar watch with special calibre and double virgule escapement.

C. Double body, Louis XVI, polished. D. White enamel with gilt Breguet numerals on a blue chapter ring, outer minute and calendar rings (slightly restored on the border of the winding hole). Gold hands pierced with entrelacs. M. GiIt brass full plate with cylindrical pillars, the going barrel passing through the back plate, double virgule escapement of the type improved by Romilly, plain gold three-arm balance, flat balance spring. Signed on the dial. In good condition. Diam. 55 mm.
