Henry Lepaute, Horloger de la Ville de Paris, No. 5243, circa 1900. Rare and fine 18 ct. gold and enamel keyless fobwatch in the XVlllth century style, with matching chatelaine in four elements.

Four body, massive, "Louis XVI", the bezel in blue enamel with gold and green decoration, the back enamelled with Venus and Cupid, painted "en grisaille" in a medaillon, over a brown ground, white and green frame and further scrolls on the border over a dark blue ground. Gold cuvette. D. White enamel with Arabic numerals and outer Arabic minute ring. Gold Louis XVI hands. M.11,5?, gilt brass, bar caliber, counterpoised adjustable straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring. Signed on the dial and the cuvette. In very good condition. Diam. 33mm.
