C. Four body, massive, "bassine", polished, the cover engraved with the Eagle of America. Gold cuvette, engine- turned on the border, engraved with the dedication : From the President of the United States, to E May Cock, Master of the British steamship Defender, in recognition of his human services in effecting the rescue at sea, on December 18, 1926, of certain members of the crew of the shipwrecked UNITED STATE COAST GUARD CUTTER LINCOLN. D. White enamel, three pieces, with Arabic numerals, outer red Arabic minute ring and subsidiary seconds. Blued steel "spade" hands. M. 18"' nickel damascened, 23 Jewels in gold settings, with a gold train of wheels, straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring with swan neck micrometric index. Signed on the dial and movement. In very good condition. Diam. 52mm.
