Double body, Louis XVI, with paste-set bezel, the back enamelled with a painted scene, depicting a loving couple by the altar of Love.(slightly restored), outer cha sed and champleve enamelled garlands of leaves. D. White enamel with Roman numerals and outer Arabic minute ring, small rose-diamonds inlaid between each hours. Diamond set Louis XV hands. M. GiIt full plate with turned pillars, fusee and chain, verge escapement with plain brass three armed balance, gilt brass continental cock with polished steel endpiece. Signed on the dial and the movement. In good condition. Diam. 42mm.
