Sylvain Mayret No. 40125, Swiss, made for Le Roy & Fils, 296 Regent Street, London, circa 1830. Very fine and unusual large 18 ct. gold and silver minute repeating watch with alarm.

C. Four body, massive, "forme quatre baguettes", polished with the band in silver in the manner of Breguet. Gold cuvette. D. White enamel with Roman numerals and sunk subsidiary seconds. Blued steel Breguet hands. M. 22-, gilt brass, half plate, with free standing barrel, counterpoised straight line lever escapement, plain gold three armed balance with Breguet "parachute" suspension and bimetallic compensation curb, flat balance spring. Repeatition with polished steel visible work and alarm on gongs, with slide in the band. Signed on the cuvette. In very good condition. Diam. 60mm.
