Anonymous, Swiss, circa 1840. Fine 18 ct. gold and enamel, extra flat watch with a Bagnolet caliber.

C. Four body, "bassine pincée", bezel, back, pendant and bow, profusely engraved with foliage and champleve enamelled flowers. Gold cuvette. D. White enamel with Roman numerals. Blued steel "spade" hands. M. 15? gilt brass inverted caliber, the single plate engraved with scrolls on the border, the train of wheels sunk in the plate, below the dial. Cylinder escapement with plain brass three armed balance, flat balance spring. In very good condition. Diam. 40mm.
