P. Orr & Sons, Madras, No. 11950, Swiss, for the Indian market, circa 1890. Fine 18 ct. gold, half hunting cased, keyless minute repeating watch with split second chronograph and 30 minute progressive recorder.

C. Four body, massive, "bassine et filets", polished, the cover with blue champleve enamelled Roman numerals around the dial aperture. Gold cuvette. D. White enamel with Roman numerals, outer Arabic minute and chronograph ring, sunk subsidiary seconds and minute register. Blued steel "pear" hands. M.19?, frosted and gilt, three quarter plate, 22 jewels in screwed settings, English lateral lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring. Repeating on gongs with a slide in the band, the split second chronograph with push pieces on the band. Signed on the dial and movement. In very good condition. Diam. 55mm.
