Four body, massive, "bassine et filets", with reeded band and engraved bezels pendant and bow, back and cover with red translucent enamel over engine-turning inlaid with rose-diamond in rosette pattern, the border with translucent champleve enamelled Arabesques ( slightly restored). Gold cuvette. D. White enamel with Roman numerals and sunk subsidiary seconds. Blued steel fancy hands. M. 18?, gilt brass, 14 jewels, counterpoised straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallIc balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring. Signed on the cuvette. In good condition. Diam. 50mm.
