Anonymous, Swiss, made for the Chinese market, circa 1900. Fine 18 ct. gold and enamel, pearl-set, keyless minute repeating watch with chronograph.

C. Four body, "bassine et filets", with split-pearl set bezels, the band chased in a forma) pattern, the back of blue translucent enamel over engine-turning, painted with a scene depicting a loving couple in a garden. Gold cuvette engraved with medals awarded in different exhibitions. D. White enamel with Roman numerals, outer Arabic minute and chronograph ring and sunk subsidiary seconds. Gold "pear" hands. M. 20?, gilt brass, half plate, 17 jewels, straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring. Repeating on gongs with slide in the band. Chronograph with visible work, push-piece on the winding crown. In good condition. Diam. 46mm.
