Anonymous, French, made for the Chinese market, circa 1900. Very fine gilt bronze and cloisonne enamel, "grande and Petite sonnerie", quarter repeating, center seconds carriage clock with alarm.

C. Gilt bronze glazed, "Anglaise Riche, with Corinthian columns", decorated overall with cloisonne enamel in a floral pattern. D. White enamel with Roman numerals and subsidiary alarum setting dial. Blued steel "spade" hands. M. Eight day going double train movement with going barrels. Gilt bras platform escapement, straight line lever escapement, uncut bimetallic balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring. Striking, repeating and alarm on two gongs, with button on the top and Silence, grande and petite sonnerie selection lever on the base. In very good condition. Dim. 15 x 10 x 9 cm.
