C. Two-piece frame, the borders engraved with a hatched pattern, the interior with delicate foliage. Hexagonal lobed rock-crystal back and hinged cover. Loose-ring pendant and button finial. D. Lobed, gilt brass with Roman numerals and half-hour divisions, the border engraved with foliage and angel supporters, the centre with a river landscape. Steel single hand. M. Lobed gilt brass plates with turned balluster pillars, fusee with gut, short train, verge escapement, plain twoarm steel balance without spring. Irregular florally pierced and engraved balance cock secured by a pin, the ratchet-wheel set-up with matching click. In very good condition. Diam. 37nmm.
