Notes

Méry was a pupil of Robert Robin. This was present most of the features of original watches made by Robin, such as the shape of the case, the caliber of the movement and the escapement. Two very similar movement made by Robin, previously in the Ilbert collection are now in the Ilbert Room at the British Museum.
