The BoudoirUnsigned, Swiss, circa 1900.Fine 18 ct. gold, hunting-cased, keyless, quarter repeating watch with concealed enamelled erotic automaton, made for the Indian market.

C. Four-body, 'bassine et filets', engine-turned covers, gold hinged cuvette hiding the automaton scene. D. White enamel, Roman chapters, outer minute ring. Blued-steel 'spade' hands.The automaton is mounted on the back plate and activated by the repeater. The scene takes place in a boudoir and confirms that passion traverses all racial barriers, a little dog at the side seems to be in agreement. M. 19''', gilt brass, 17 jewels, straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued-steel Breguet balance spring, repeating on two gongs by a slide on the case.Diam. 51 mm.
