Unsigned, Swiss, circa 1825.Fine 18 ct. varicoloured watch set with diamonds, rubies and turquoises with visible, diamond-set balance in protective glazed cover.

C. Four-body, 'demi-bassine', back with applied varicoloured flower vase with flowers and leaves running to the border, set with diamonds and rubies, bezels with applied gold leaf decoration set with turquoises, gold hinged cuvette, matching pendant and bow. D. Gold, eccentric, engine-turned centre with 'basket' pattern, champlevé Roman hour cartouches with outer minute divisions set in the lower part of a gold plate also decorated with applied varicoloured gold leaves and flowers set with diamods and rubies, at the top an aperture fordiamond-set balance oscillating against an azure enamelled ground with gold rays.
