Love and ProsperityAmalric Frères, Genève, No. 20117, circa 1810.Very fine and amusing 18 ct. gold and enamel form watch with concealed dial, in the shape of a scent bottle.

C. Two-body, entirely decorated in azure, black and white champleve enamel, the spring-loaded top revealing the dial, the sides decorated with flowers and symbols of Love and Prosperity, gold threaded stopper decorated en suite. D. White enamel, Breguet numerals, outer minute divisions. Blued-steel Breguet hands. M. 18.5 mm o, hinged, gilt brass full plate with cylindrical pillars, fusee and chain, verge escapement, plain three-arm brass balance, continental cock.Signed on dial and movement, stamped with mark in the case.Dim. 70 x 23 mm.
