Two putti painted in grisaille over a blue enamel ground on the inside of the soundboard, with applied diamond-set crescent and a star, arched stem and neck terminating in a snake's head, the back with a pattern radiating out from the centre, in green and red enamel. D. White enamel, Roman chapters, outer minute ring. Blued-steel Breguet hands. M. 24 mm o, hinged, gilt brass full plate, verge escapement, plain brass three-arm balance, continental cock, rack and pinion regulator with a silverlate.Dim. 70 x 30 mm.
