Perpetual CalendarAdamson, Invenit et fecit, Paris, circa 1790.Fine and rare 18 ct. gold, pair-cased, double-face manual perpetual calendar in the form of a pocket watch with equation of time indication.

C. Outer: two-body, gilt brass, 'bassine', both covers with shagreen. Inner: two-body, glazed on both sides, bezels engraved with a repeated pattern on matte ground. D. Both of white enamel, on one side an outer 31-day Arabic scale and a concentric inner days of the week indication, on the other the dial is divided into twelve radial sectors: each containing the month with its duration, the equation of time indication for two days of each month, the 1st and the 15th, the Zodiac sign correspondinto each month. Gold skeleton hands. M. Gilt brass single plate, each side with its corresponding calendar wheels.Signed on the edge of the movement, below the day/date bezel.Diam. 42 mm, outer 47 mm.
