Two-body, 'fermée' type, the sound-board with cream champlevé enamel with a blue enamel and gold wreath border to the sound-hole, the neck enamelled in black, the vaulted back with black ribs within a panel of scarlet guilloche enamel and sections of engraved gold musical instruments and foliage on a blue ground, gold suspension chain. D. White enamel, Breguet numerals. Blued-steel 'spade' hands. M. 24.3 mm o, hinged, gilt brass full plate with cylindrical pillars, fusee and chain, verge escaement, plain three-arm brass balance, continental cock, silver regulator plate.
