Two-body, 'Louis XVI', back finely painted with a portrait of a lady and a gentleman encircled by rose-cut diamonds, the outer part with applied multicoloured flower and leaf decoration with two birds sitting in nests, also set with rose-cut diamonds. D. White enamel, Roman chapters, outer minute divisions, Arabic five minute numerals. Blued-steel Breguet hands. M. 42.8 mm o, hinged, gilt brass full plate, cylindrical pillars, fusee and chain, verge escapement, plain three-arm brass balance,lat balance spring, continental two-footed cock pierced and engraved with six tulips, rack and pinion regulator with silver plate, striking on a bell by depressingthe pendant.Signed on the dial and the movement.Diam. 53 mm.
