The LyreFrères Veigneur, Geneva, No. 15217, circa 1810.Very fine 18 ct. gold and enamel form watch, designed as a Lyre.

Two-body, spring-loaded top revealing the dial, the back of the same shape as the front, decorated in translucent scarlet and opaque with azure enamels with flower and leaf decoration in gold and white enamel, the entire outer shape in filigree with glazed sound-opening showing the cock, and gold, triple chain suspension.D. White enamel, Breguet numerals, outer minute divisions and Arabic 15 minutes. Blued-steel 'arrow' hands. M. 20 mm o, hinged, gilt brass full plate, cylindrical pillars, fusee and chain, verge escapement, plain three-arm brass balance, continental cock pierced and engraved in a symmetrical pattern, rack and pinon regulator with silver plate.Signed on dial and movement.Dim.70 x 40 mm.
