C. Two-body, 'fermée' type, hinged, mounted in gold and painted on 'ronde bosse' enamel frames, with floral designs. D. Enamel on gold, radial Roman chapters on white enamel ring with half-hour divisions, the centrewith flowers and foliage painted on champlevé translucent and opaque enamel. Blued-steel 'serpent' hand.M. 26 mm o, gilt brass full plate, turned baluster pillars, short four-wheel train with five-leaf pinions, fusee and gut-line, verge escapement, steel two-arm circular foliot, elongated gilt brass cock pierced and engraved with floral decoration secured by a screw, worm and wheel mainspring setting.Signed on the movement.Diam. 34 mm. Provenance: previously in the collection of The King of Naples.Molly Jacob (Moly)working in Geneva, became Master watchmaker in 1630. He formed the pupils Jercelat, in 1662, and Jean Duboule, in 1663.
