C. Two-body, oval gilt brass with silver, engraved cover and polished back, the silver band pierced and engraved with foliage, tulip pendant, loose ring and button finial. D. Oval, gilt brass, eccentric Roman chapter ring set at the lower part with inner rotating Arabic numeral alarm dial with steel marker for the hours, subsidiary silver ring above for the days of the month, inner indication for the months and their duration, dial on the left for days of the week and apertures on the right forhe age and phases of the moon. Blued-steel 'arrow' hands.M. 35 x 42 mm, oval, hinged, gilt brass full plate engraved on the border with flowers and foliage, turned vase pillars, fusee with gut-line for the going train, verge escapement, two-arm brass balance circular foliot, elongated pinned cock pierced and engraved with asymmetrical floral decoration with matching click for the ratchet wheel set-up, fixed barrel for alarm, strikes on a bell fastened to the bottom of the case.Signed on the back plate J.
