C. Two-body, 'bassine', enamelled on copper, the case with a portrait of a lady posing as Diana the Huntress. Front and back bezels painted with continuous rural scenes of rivers, bridges, tress, and houses D. Hinged, gilt with raised inhabited foliage decoration in the centre, white enamel cartouches with blue Roman hour chapters, outer enamelled minute ring with Arabic five-minute numerals, inner enamelled quarter hour ring. M. 42.3 mm o, gilt brass full plate, square baluster pillars, fusee ad chain for the going train, verge escapement, plain three-arm balance, blued-steel balance spring, gilded double-footed cock pierced and engraved with symmetrical scrolls, wheel and click set-up.Signed on the movement.Diam. 59 mm.
