Unsigned, Swiss, No. 7844, circa 1860.Fine 18 ct. gold and turquoise-set key-wound form watch in the shape of a tulip.

C. Four-body, realistically modelled, repoussé, chased and engraved with applied gold leaf stems set with turquoises, the stem forming a pendant hook, loose oval pendant set with turquoises, back polished, gold hinged cuvette. D. White enamel, Roman chapters, outer minute divisions and red Arabic five minutes. Blued-steel 'spade' hands. M. 15.8 x 23.7 mm, oval, gilt brass bridge calibre, 10 jewels, cylinder escapement, plain three-arm brass balance, flat balance spring.Dim. 63 x 21 mm.
