Unsigned, Geneva, No. 5964, circa 1870.Fine 18 ct. gold and enamel keyless, concealed dial, form watch in the shape of a handbag with a photograph compartment.

C. Four-body, front modelled as a handbag with a lock and two straps, decorated with stylised enamelled fleur de lis, polished back with two raised black enamel suitcase straps, gold, hinged cuvette, inside the back cover a hinged frame for a photograph. D. White enamel, Roman chapters, outer minute divisions. Blued-steel 'spade' hands. M. 18.7 x 24 mm, rectangular, gilt brass bar calibre, 10 jewels, cylinder escapement, plain gilt brass three-arm balance, blued-steel balance spring.Movement and case stamped with the same number.Dim. 25 x 28 mm.
