David du Chemin à Rouen, circa 1640.Fine and very rare pair-cased pendant form watch in the shape of a marrow.

C. Two-body. Outer: domed, polished silver. Inner: top with naturalistically modelled lobed rock crystal, hinged gilt brass engraved bezels, the back modelled lobed silver replacing the original rock crystal. D. Silver applied ring with radial Roman chapters, half-hour markers, over a gilt metal pear-shaped plate engraved with a cherub and flowers. Blued 'fleur de lis' hand. M. 19.3 x 29 mm, pear-shaped, hinged, gilt brass, round vase pillars, fusee and gut-line for the going train, verge escapeent, plain two-arm circular balance, gilt pinned cock, piercedand engraved.Signed on the movement.Dim. 48 x 30 mm.
