Henry Gebart à Strasburg, circa 1630.Very fine and very rare gilt metal and rock crystal single-hand, fleur de lis-shaped pendant form watch.

C. Two-body, the front and back lobed and carved rock crystal, within a hinged and engraved frame, tulip pendant, loose ring, small finial. D. Silver disc with Roman chapters and a central engraved town scene, applied to a four-lobed, hinged gilt metal plate engraved with Juno with her peacock and spear attributes. Blued-steel 'fleur de lis' hand. M. Four-lobed, hinged, gilt brass full plate, turned vase pillars, fusee and chain for the going train, verge escapement, brass two-arm balance, elongted pinned gilt cock pierced and engraved with fruits and leaves, wheel and click set-up with cock similarly decorated.Signed on the back plate.Dim. 57 x 35 mm.
