Unsigned, Geneva, circa 1870.Fine 18 ct. gold and enamel, diamond-set, hunting-cased key-wound pendant form watch in the shape of a fish, with a photograph compartment.

Four-body, both covers repoussé, chased and engraved, with red and black champlevé enamel decorating the scales and head, the eyes and fins set with diamonds, the mouth, dorsal, and ventral fins equipped with rings so that it can be worn as a pendant, spring-loaded front, gold hinged cuvette, inside the back cover a small glazed oval compartment for a photograph. D. White enamel, Roman chapters, outer minute divisions with red five-minute Arabic numerals. Blued-steel 'spade' hands. M. Heart-saped, gilt brass bar calibre, 10 jewels, cylinder escapement, plain brass balance with blued-steel balance spring.Dim. 56 x 36 mm. Published in the Sandberg book, pages 486-487.
