Unsigned, Geneva, circa 1830.Fine and rare 18 ct. gold and enamel oval pendant watch with diamond-set visible balance and original gold ratchet key on short gold chain.

C. Two-body, the back engraved with a central rosette and black champlevé enamel border. D. Oval, translucent dark blue enamel with a gold serpent on each side, below an eccentric white enamel dial with Breguet numerals and outer minute divisions, above an aperture for the balance oscillating against a polished blued-steel plate. Blued-steel 'arrow' hands. M. 15 x 23 mm, follows the shape of the case, full plate brass, fixed barrel, cylinder escapement, four-arm plain balance set with rose-cut damonds.Dim. 26 x 15 mm.
