Two-body, 'fermée' type, designed so that the watch appears to be carried inside the basket, the spring-loaded front cover in translucent scarlet enamel over barleycorn engine-turning centred by a paillon rosette, the back cover similarly decorated, half pearl-set bezels, the gold base engraved to resemble a woven basket with flowers and leaves, pearl-set handle. D. White enamel, Breguet numerals, outer Arabic minutes. Gold 'spade' hands.M. 22 mm o, hinged, gilt full plate, cylindrical pillars, fusee and chain, verge escapement, plain brass balance, continental cock, rack and pinion regulator with a silver plate.Dim.
