The TulipUnsigned, Geneva, circa 1810.Very fine and amusing 18 ct. gold, enamel and pearl-set, concealed dial form watch in the shape of a tulip.

Two-body, 'fermée' type, the petals finely modelled and painted in enamel in shades of pale yellow, orange and green, the borders decorated with graduated pearls, the edge engraved and decorated in champlevé enamel. Spring-loaded cover opens to reveal the dial, the pendant and bow decorated en suite. D. White enamel, Roman chapters, outer minute dot markers. Gold Breguet hands. M. 21.5mm o, hinged, gilt brass full plate, cylindrical pillars, fusee and chain, verge escapement, plain three-armrass balance, continental cock, rack and pinion regulator with silver plate.Dim.
