Unsigned, Geneva, No. 1617, circa 1810.Fine and amusing 18 ct. gold and enamel pearl, ruby, and emerald-set, concealed dial form watch in the shape of a butterfly.
C. Two-body, 'fermée' type, front with multi-coloured champlevé enamel, thorax and antennae set with pearls and emeralds, ruby-set eyes. D. White enamel, Breguet numerals, outer minute divisions. Gold 'spearhead' hands. M. 22 mmo, hinged, gilt brass full plate, cylindrical pillars, fusee and chain, verge escapement, plain three-arm brass balance, continental cock pierced and engraved in symmetrical pattern, rack and pinion regulator with silver plate.Dim.
