The WalnutsUnsigned, Swiss, 19th century.Fine and unusual pair of 18 ct. gold and enamel walnuts, one fitted with a watch with concealed dial, the other containing a miniature necessaire de voyage.

C. Two-body, 'fermée' type, with spring-loaded covers, the outside entirely painted on enamel in a very realistic manner, fine blue counter-enamel. D. White enamel, Breguet numerals, outer minute divisions. Blued-steel Breguet hands. M. 22 mm o, hinged, gilt brass full plate with cylindrical pillars, fusee and chain, verge escapement, plain brass balance, continental cock pierced and engraved, rack and pinion regulator with asilver plate.Dim. 51 x 33 mm.
