Notes

A. Kaiser of Fribourg, Switzerlandinvented a very interesting digital display mechanism. Kaiser patented his invention on Dec 21, 1883. It is applicable to any counting device and was presumably also used as a counter. He mounted an additional spring-loaded wheel on the third driving wheel that jumped forward when the spring was released.Champod P.A.For a biography, see lot 86.
