Anonymous, Swiss, No. 26337, circa 1840. Fine and rare, 18 ct. extremely thin, half skeletonized watch, in original red Morocco fitted box.
C. Double body, with reeded band, the back fully engraved with a fine scroll and flower decoration. D. Silver chapter ring with Roman numerals. Blued steel Breguet hands. M. 17-, inverted silvered and gilt, bar caliber, fully engraved with scroll and flowers, the back of the single plate, with technical details, visible train of wheels and the free standing barrel with female winding hole, sunk on the reverse of the single plate and secured by bridges. Cylinder escapement, plain polished steel three armed balance, ruby endstone and flat balance spring. In very good condition, with a gilt male key. Diam. 42 mm.
