C. Double body, bassine, the edge of the back pierced and engraved with inhabited foliage and masks. D. Silver champleve, with Roman numerals, outer Arabic calendar ring and inner gilt brass revolving alarum setting disc. Blued steel single hand. M. Hinged, frosted and gilt, with amphora pillars, both the going and the alarm trains with fixed barrels, pierced and engraved with scrolls of foliage. verge escapement, plain steel three armed balance, flat balance spring and gilt brass small continental cock. Striking on a bell. Signed on the back plate. In very good condition. Diam. 48 mm.
