Unsigned, Swiss, No. 44075, made by Henchoz Frère and regulated by A. Hillgren, circa 1895. Extremely fine, 18 ct. gold, hunting cased, keyless pocket chronometer with one minute toubillon regulator.

C. Four body, massive, bassine et filets, polished. Gold cuvette. D. White enamel with radial Arabic numerals and sunk subsidiary seconds. Blued steel pear hands. M. 19-, frosted and pale gilt, Technicum caliber, 15 jewels, spring detent escapement, cut bimetallic balance, Philips blued steel balance spring with terminal curve. One minute tourbillon with three arm polished steel cage, driven by the minute wheel. In excellent condition. Diam. 56 mm.

Literature: Illustrated and described in Miei: Das Tourbillon, page 157, and recorded by him, page 348 as controlled at the Observatory of Neuchâtel in 1895- 1896, for the account of Henchoz Frères, Le Locle, regulate by A. Hillgren. According to the shape of the cage and the date it was made, one might think the toubillon was supplied by Albert Pellaton.
