Anonymous, Swiss, circa 1810. Very fine 18 ct. gold and enamel pearl set pendant form watch designed as a lyre, with matching chatelaine, seal and key.
C. The movement is set in a fine lyre, with pearl set bezel, and champleve enamelled palm-leaf decoration, the reverse with a fine champleve enamelled, composition of symbols of love and fidelity, over a blue enamel ground and further champleve decoration. Two element chatelaine, bordered with red translucent champleve enamelled drapery, the tower one with a medaillon matching that of the reverse of the watch, the top one with a figure of Venus applied on a black onyx medaillon. D. White enamel with Breguet numerals. Blued steel Breguet hands. M. GiIt brass full plate, with cylindrical pillars, fusee with chain, verge escapement, plain brass three armed balance, gilt brass continental cock and polished steel end-piece. In very good condition. Dim. 60 x 30 mm.
