C. Double body, Empire, with reeded band, split-pearl set bezels, pendant and bow, the back enamelled with a very fine painted scene, depicting Indians hunting an elephant. Hinged gilt silver cuvette, engraved with a star and further ribbon decoration. D. White enamel with Roman numerals, outer Arabic minute and seconds ring. GiIt brass spade hands 'and counterpoised seconds hand. M. GiIt brass, Chinese caliber, florally engraved overall, with free standing barrel, single wheel duplex escapement, polished steel f ive armed balance, flat balance spring. Signed on the movement. In very good condition. Diam. 57 mm.
