Leroy à Paris, No. 2698, circa 1810. Fine and unusual 18 ct. gold, pull-wind quarter repeating skeleton watch.
C. Four body, Empire, with reeded band and glazed back Glazed cuvette. D. Gold engine-turned with Roman numerals on a plain reserve. Blued steel Breguet hands. M. Gilt brass full plate, with cylindrical pillars, the skeletonized pack plate revealing the train of wheels, fusee with chain, verge escapement, plain gold three armed balance, flat balance spring and diamond endstone. Repeating on gongs by pulling the pendant. Signed on the back plate. In good condition, with a short chain and a gold and enamel key. Diam. 57 mm.
